Employers must send an email requesting I act as there "Authorized Representative, " as I-9s are not actually notarized. 1. Driver's License, Senior State ID, Non Driver State ID, Passport from any Country with proper entry stamps - (Very few other IDs are acceptable.) IDs must not have expired and temporary IDs are not acceptable. 2. Name printed in document or under signature line, must be the same or a shorter than name as appears on photo ID.
3. Document should be completely filled out, no blank spaces to be filled in later (except for the client's signature, and Notarial section). 4. Signer must demonstrate that she or he understands the significance of the document she or he will sign, and sign of her or his free will. 6. Jurats MUST be signed in front of Notary Public; Acknowledgments may be signed in advance, but signer must appear before notary and acknowledge having signed.
7. Time - It takes about 7 minutes per client signature to prepare the Notarial wording and Notary journal entry.
