The mission of this legal support network is to provide quality legal support services by experienced professionals to attorneys and other members of the legal community. Although our goal is to work with members of the legal community, we do offer some services to members of the public. All notary public and process server services are offered to members of the public.

This network of legal support professionals is run by volunteers who want to network with other professionals. Membership is voluntary. There are no dues or fees payable to the Massachusetts Notary Public & Legal Support Network by the individual members. Nor does the network pay individual members for services rendered. Instead, the clients that contract with us are responsible for paying the individual members.

For instance, if a law firm calls and requests a document to be served in Essex county, the "primaries" will call a member from Essex county and request that he or she serve the document. All fee's owed to the individual member for serving the document will be payable by the law firm requesting the service.

NOTICE: We are not the commissioning authority for Notaries Public in Massachusetts and are not responsible for granting or renewing notary public commissions.
A Massachusetts Notary Public is a public officer and servant appointed under authority of law with power, among other things, to execute the above listed authority on behalf of the Commonwealth.
The notary is appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of his council.
As set forth in Article IV of the Articles of Amendment to the Constitution of the Commonwealth, a person commissioned as a notary public may perform notarial acts in any part of the Commonwealth for a term of seven years, unless the commission is earlier revoked or the notary resigns.
If you work for a law office and use us a lot, we may be able to lower our fees as a courtesy.
Feel free to email us if you have any questions.
Please note that the fees above DON'T include the witness fees required to be paid to the applicable witnesses by law.
You're required to give us the money to pay the witnesses.
In the event that we pay out of our pockets, you're required to reimburse us for any payments made to a witness.
Any process server who returns to the court a writ or other official instrument of process on which he has willfully falsified either the fact that service has been made, or the fact that a particular kind of service has been made, shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year.
Subpoena Ad Testificandum = (Latin for "to testify under penalty") a court order used to command a person to appear and give oral testimony at a hearing or trial.
Subpoena Duces Tecum = (Latin for bring with you under penalty) a court order used to command a person to appear and produce tangible evidence (documents, records, photos, etc.) for use at a hearing or trial.
Deposition Subpoena = a court order used to command a person to appear and testify at a deposition presided over by an officer authorized to administer oaths (notary public, justice of the peace, etc.).
NOTICE: We are not a national apostille service.
We assist people, colleges, schools, universities, and businesses who need a Massachusetts Apostille for a notarized or certified document originating from Massachusetts.
We can also obtain certification and/or authentication from the U.S. Department of State on your behalf upon request.
Ensure the Certification and/or Apostille is for the correct country receiving the document(s).
Countries participating in the International Treaty known as the Hague Convention usually require an Apostille while other countries require a Certification (a/k/a legalization).
REMINDER: We're a mobile support network.
This means we will travel to your designated location.
Also, some paralegal support services are only offered to attorneys licensed to practice law and not the general public (i.e., investigations).
All notary public and process server services are available to the public because the law frowns on any public servant who is unwilling to serve the public when a lawful request is made and the appropriate fees are tendered.
The preferred way to contact us is by email.
