We are located in Newport News, VA, and we service the entire surrounding area.
We are also an enotary, which means we can offer complete online digital e-documents and digital signatures, and we post our approved seal on the document via ENS (Electronic Notary Seal).
24-Hour Mobile Notary provides services for the entire Hampton Roads area, which includes Hampton, Poquoson, Newport News, York County, Williamsburg on the Peninsula, and Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Carrollton, and Smithfield on the Southside.
PLEASE NOTE: The following applies to eNotarization Package Services For Corporate/Business Clients only.
The Commonwealth of Virginia is particularly innovative in the area of enotarization, as we are currently the only State that allows eNotarizations via Skype or similar techniques involving live audio-visual programs.
As a result, you can be anywhere in the world at the time of your appearance before the Notary via Skype.
One of the methods employed by eNotaries is the use of a digital seal to notarize digital and digitized documents.
What is a notary signing agent?
A notary signing agent is a notary public that notarizes mortgage documents for borrowers who purchase or refinance their current mortgage.
Notary signing agents are impartial witnesses who identify the signer, verify that all documents are signed and dated, notarize the documents, and return the executed loan package to the lender.
We are familiar with each and every document signed at closing, and we work with several title companies to ensure that your closing runs smoothly.
WITNESSES: We provide witnesses for legal documents at a rate of $45 per witness from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and $75 per witness after hours, weekends and holidays.
I understand that last minute changes in your schedule may be unavoidable and I will try to accommodate those changes as best I can.
Please understand that when I make an appointment I am setting aside enough time to do my best work and that each appointment is for only one client.
I do not overbook expecting some of my clients to not show for their appointments.
A: The Commonwealth of Virginia Notary Public Handbook defines a notary as a public officer who acts as an official, unbiased witness to the identity and signature of the person who comes before the notary for a specific purpose.
The person may be taking an oath, giving oral or written testimony, or signing or acknowledging his or her signature on a legal document.
In each case, the notary attests that certain formalities [as required by law] are observed.
Only the Division of Vital Records/Statistics may perform such a certification.
